Workable Donor???

Been toying with converting my truck to 4X4. There's a good running gas '86 3/4 ton on the local Craigslist cheap. Will the '86 parts work (without too much modification) on my '93?

Yes, but make sure it has an NP205.

Make sure it has a Dana 60 front axle. Most likely it has a weak Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear axle. Probly just a good parts truck for a GAS truck.
