wiper float

My wipers suck. They lift up off the windshield at speeds over 65 or if there are wind gusts. I have priced a new set of arms from dodge and I'm sorry did you say $70? The aftermarket doesn't seem to offer a replacement either. I have tried bending the arms toward the window to increase spring tension and changing blades (currently have winter blades). Anyone know a part# for the springs or a fix.

You can just put new springs in. They don't need to be actually made for it either just take them off the arm, go to the local hardware store and buy some big mothers to hold that sucker to the windshield!

I have always added SureWipe springs to my wipers. It is an external spring that mounts on the wiper arm to help keep the skip down.. I found the bug(hood) deflector made them dance alot.
