Who's put an add a leaf in the front?

I think this is going to be my next mod (if i can stop buying other stuff)...

I was wondering if anyone has pictures of their trucks with stock suspension PLUS an add a leaf in the front. I have 6" blocks in the rear and everything is factory but i need to gain like 1.5" in the front for the truck to sit level.

Before and after pictures would be even better! lol

mine only has 3 inch blocks in the back so it pretty much sat level before the add-a-leaf. sorry for people who dont like the backend squatting. i plan on lifting it even just havent got around to it yet.

think the add a leaf will do what i want? 1-2" will be good but 1.5" will be purrrrrfect. and what brand did you get?

I have had some bad luck with rough country suspension parts in the past, and the rough country add a leafs I have seen were to short, caused the spring over top of them to start to bend over the end of the add a leaf.

Find a skyjacker or super lift add a leaf.

JBradley500,

I originally installed an add-a-leaf a few years ago. Like yourself, I wanted to level the front of my truck. They're cheap, however, the ride is not all that great. I lived with it for about a year and eventually installed Skyjacker 2" front springs. The ride is so much better and the stance is level. Just my 2 cents worth. Aloha~

Just a comment on level trucks...

Maybe I'm just getting too old but I have to say that in over 40 years of owning cars & trucks I have never had any size truck that sat level front to rear. Also, never have I seen one from the factory when I worked at a dealership in the late 1960's. I have also found that having a truck set level will make it look severely over loaded with only a slight load when it really isn't. Now this may be ideal if you never intend to haul a load of wood or a few buckets of gravel and never plan on hooking up a trailer with any tongue weight.
To me that 1.5 inches is well within the normal stance of a pickup truck.
