where to hook up electronic fuel pressure gauge?

Well I finally got a fuel pressure gauge. I decided to go ahead and get an eletronic one so i didn't have to run fuel in the cab and have it illegal in competition use. So i ordered an isspro EV2 gauge from genos. It just has a pressure sensor and then wires run from that to the gauge. But wheres the best to place to put the sensor in? I know to put it after the fuel filter. Do i need to put a T in the fuel line and put this sensor in it? or can I use the bleeder bolt and use a fitting to get it to work since the sensor is bigger than the bleeder bolt. Or is there a way you can drill and tap another hole in the fuel filter housing and put it there? Just wonderin what everyone else has done? thanks.

I got the higher flow banjo bolt from Geno's Garage with the 1/8" hole tapped instead of the bleeder screw. Or just retap the original.

That is what i did also but i needed to run a hose from the banjo to the sensor because the sensor was to large to connect directly. I think in the long run it was better doing it this way anyway account of the vibration of the motor it was directly connect to the banjo. Geno's also had the remote hose that i used with all the necessary fittings.

Me too. It's inexpensive. On Geno's sight it says that it is for a 2nd Gen but it works in ours too.

So i could pull my banjo bolt out, take the bleeder bolt out of that, then drill the hole bigger and tap it where the bleeder bolt was and just put my pressure sensor in there?

call geno's and they'll combine orders for you. that is, if what you've ordered already hasn't been shipped.

its too late, it came on tuesday, and i don't wanna wait and pay more shipping for a $7 bolt. I think I'll just drill and tap the one i have, and hope it doesn't break. Thanks for the help guys!

I would tap it while holding the bolt in a vise (Which I'm sure you were going to do for the sole reason of shards). I was thinking if it DID break, it would most likely break at the neck, leaving the banjo bolts threads inside your head
Advantage of the Geno's one is that the holes are bigger without sacrificing strength.
