Where to get valet switch components?

I found the solenoid, muffler, and some of the couplers, but Grainger has 'limited supply' of most of it. Anyone know of another source for the Prestolok fittings?

I just did mine and I did not use the "Prestolok" fittings. I would go to a hardware store pick up some 1/8" npt compression fittings (the kind with the plastic not brass). I had some at work so that is where I went shopping. Also I could not find a 1/16 npt fitting so I just drilled and tapped my AFC cover for the 1/8" npt which is the same as the pyro size so I already had the tap. The only thing that I actually bought was the switch and the solenoid.

I got my switch from Wal Mart it is a on/off and has a red led in the tip of the switch that is on when there is 12v through the switch to the solenoid.

The ones I used did not have a barb, it has a nut when you take it off there is a plastic sleeve in the nut and a small pipe type thingy that stick out from the center of the actual fitting. I wish I knew the name of it then I wouldn't sound so DUMB.

A valet switch is used to turn off the pressure to the AFC housing that comes from the intake. This action doesn't let the fuel pin move (due to no intake pressure) which intern doesn't let all the fuel that is fed from the action of the pin to go into the VE pump.

I'm sure I messed that explanation up somewhere. Maybe this will be better. It reduces fuel to injectors????

You can get the fittings at most truck parts you can also get the NyFlex Air Brake tubing is assorted sizes, but I get most of my Air Brake line and brass fittings at Hose Man.

Graingers has a real nice catalog but when I go the the store they never have what I want.

There is also McMaster-Carr
