It's not a governor spring kit, it's just a spring. You'll get the deer in the headlight look if you go in and ask for a governor spring kit for a rotary pump
. While in there, ask for a VE seal kit, Bosch part number DGK121. It will have all the seals and o-rings for the VE.

It is coming from Canada, eh? If you have a pump shop local, it is much better to buy the spring there, but I wouldn't throw PDR under the bus just because they made a profit on the spring.

Man wish this thread woulda been up when I got mine.Didn't realize they were in Canada.I never looked just found the # and called.Wonder why s/h was so high. Then they called me back the next day.My card was no good.Gave em a new one.Spent all day researching why my debit card was no good. Finally a lady from the bank asked me"have you ordered anything from Canada"?
Can't use my card in Canada. The other card co. calls later that night."did you realize you have a charge on your card from," guess where?Lesson learned.

Pdr
They ship from their Washington state facility for US orders. Can't blame them for making a buck. They have to inventory, stock, order whatever for that spring. One can blame ones self for not getting it locally or from one of the other online $12-$16 vendors.
We're not throwing them under the bus, but since Piers has left PDR, they have officially jumped the shark

I don't blame them for making a buck, I blame them for making $15 off of a $15 part. Since it sounds like it is being shipped from the US, there is really no excuse to overcharge people like that. Keep in mind everyone else has to stock the spring and make a profit too, but they can still charge ~$15 instead of $30.
I could blame myself, but when I posted about where to find the spring locally (because Bosch's website showed none in Utah) everyone said just call up Piers and have them send you one. Little did I know the price would be double what it costs anywhere else.
Sure they have to have inventory/stock. That is what a business like theirs does to make money. Stocking a handful of little $10 springs should not be breaking the bank and does not justify charging double. Unless someone can give me a legitimate reason they need to charge double what everyone else does, then I'm not buying anything I don't have to from them.

consider, the order taking time, compiling a few orders (as they ship frequently), throwing them in the truck, driving to the border with $$$CDN/L fuel, waiting for a couple hours to border cross, going to warehouse, transferring info to US employee, who drives to the PO @ $$$/G fuel, then back across the border (2 hrs) then drive back to shop (1hr) then pay rent, insurance, wages, unemployment... it's really not too profitable for them to provide this service. I would say... watch your orders, buy more stuff, less frequent. They are really a customer centered business, and likely doing more of a service than becoming a fat hog...
They are an advocate for us 1st Gen folks, I hate to see them close the doors, or go to a $100 minimum.
