Wheel speed sensor.
Can the 93 ABS sensor on the rear end be used like the one in the 98+ trucks to trigger a Electronic after market speedo?
Having clearance issues with the Fuel tank and sender on my 77 sb conversion.
Thanks

No.
As you can see, the fuel tank has a cut out for the stock pick up. That was for a 727 non OD and Np208/203 Tcase. My choice is to try to make the autometer speedo with the ABS sensor , Get the Idiots at the Junkyard to Just give me the correct parts ( long story ) for the 36 gal ramcharger fuel tank, or find out if a fuel tank from a early 90s short bed will work.

Would love it that was the case... It is plastic. going to try the ABS sensor. Autometer said that they have never done it that way and are unsure of the end result.
Any other ideas would be great!!

Dang, they went to plastic early. I would've figured a '77 would have had a steel tank.
I don't see any reason why the RWAL sensor wouldn't work. It produces AC current that varies in frequency with speed. What more could an electronic speedo want?
