What's that thing underneath the VE pump?

You're welcome. I busted two choke cables before I used the PTO cable. The PTO cable is really heavy duty, it doesn't like to bend too sharply, so mounting it below and to the right of the steering column is best, for a good, straight pull. They come in several different lengths, I bought the shortest, at 8ft, and cut to fit. I used a "P" clamp to secure the cable on the engine side, and made a J shape to hook to the pump. It hasn't straightend out yet. I also made a small bracket to secure the handle end of the cable inside the cab.
