Well I pay for it to be done, so I don't want to do it if I don't have to. I have a chart to keep track of my maintenance and am trying to fine tune it.

Ok, here's another one I forgot. The serpentine belt... how many miles before you change that guy out?

Just curious, Why do you pay someone to do it?? Its one of the easiest things to do and it only takes about 15 minutes.

I do my valves every time I got the head off, then I reset em after I put a few miles on it. I set mine at .008 and .018. If I can keep a headgasket in I'd do em bout once a year or 25,000 miles.

Serp belt, When it starts getting Linear cracks. But I keep a spare with me at all times.

I've done mine 3 times in less than 6K miles....

Full air/oil/fuel filters every 6 months.
Grease chassis every 3 months.
Never thought about regular service on the NV4500, or diff fluid...guess once a year now?
Flush my brake fluid once a year.
Rotate tires once a year.

Still working on my A/C retrofit, and will service my power steering fluid as well....need a big turkey baster.

Diff's would depend on use, my old chevy i would have to change the front a few times a year as i would get alot of water in it from offroading. Regular use i think 50,000km should be fine, same goes for T-case.

If pulling alot and heavy, i would change it more frequently and use synthetic.

Oil change... once a year
Fuel filter change... once a year
Tire rotation... once a year
ATF change... roughly every other year
grease zerks.. as needed
Air filter change or service...once a year
Wiper replacement... twice a year due mostly to dry rot.
Brake Service... as needed.

I only put maybe 2k a year on my truck so I service it once a year mainly to prevent too much mositure from building up in the fluids.

Every other year, comes out to about 20,000 miles. I also change my antifreeze and pack my wheel bearings at the same time.
I average real close to 10,000 miles a year now a days and coincide my maintenance with the seasons.

I need to check my owners manual, maybe they have a chart in there to look at. But thanks for the inputs!

They do, but we tend to make our own based on our own experiences, conditions, and habits.

I usually end up doing something that requires draining one or more of the servicable fluids before it would normally get changed. Basically, my service intervals are dictated by how far apart my breakdowns are, lol.
