What happened to the smoke
Ran fuel injector cleaner & lubricant off and on last few months.
Truck has now quit smoking should i be concerned.
If so where should i start?

A properly tuned diesel should not smoke. Ever. If you get smoke, you have either fuel atomization issues, or need more air to burn the extra fuel. That is a general, broad statement, as my engine smokes a little if I hit it HARD below 15-1700rpm, but only til it reaches that point.
It sounds like the injector cleaner did its job.
