what do i need to convert my auto to 5spd
Pretty much finding a manual cab would be the easiest, instead of piecing parts together.
You'll need the pedal setup with rod and bracket pieces. The slave/master cylinder for the clutch. Southbend Con O 13 inch clutch. transfer case shifter mount for the getrag. 29 spline transfer case and spline coupler. move your tranny mount back one hole. pretty simple conversion.

i got a clutch .do i need to shorten front drive shaft.i found a full parts truck down road.was going to rebuild my tranfer case cuz its out but.i can bought 5spd tranny and transfer case use.for 600 that a deal
If you found a full 5 speed parts truck then you're set. I'm not sure about shortening the front driveshaft. I've parted out so many of these trucks that I have parts everywhere. I've always just found one that fit and stuffed it in.
Your auto transfer case won't work behind a 5 speed, so no need in rebuilding it. The getrag and transfer case for 600 is a good deal if it's in good shape. I personally wouldn't run the getrag in my trucks, but everyone has their own opinions. I'd sell it to someone that actually likes them and buy an NV4500 if it were me.

This is an auto out of a 92...

This is an NV4500, same length as the Getrag...

You'll just have to use your imagination here, but you can see the transfer case won't be back as far with the 5speed. The trans mount is back farther though.

please elaborate on "all the other stuff". If that means a complete 5 speed parts truck minus the engine, then 1500's not bad. If that means just the trans, transfer case, and little pieces, that's high.
Tools can make it easier. You can never have too many
One more thing you may want to get would be an Engine Barring Tool. This makes it easier to hold and torque the Flywheel by yourself. Also, makes it easier to turn the engine when adjusting the valves.
Cheers!
