If I run up through the gears, wot in each gear, shifting at about 2350, I see about 750 post turbo. The post turbo readings are starting to bother me, though, cause it seems to really lag behind what the motor is actually doing. Up a back road grade (3-5%) @60mph in 5th, I show 7-10 psi and temps hover around 750 empty---definitely not a towing setup more revs and maybe more low rpm boost (16cm? hx35?) or maybe H2O injection....for now I just putt around pretending I'm a big rig and stomping the occasional civic On a side note, there's some kind of lock collar on my full fuel screw---is there more potential behind that collar, or should I leave well enough alone?

What size compressor does the 89 have and what size is the wh1c compressor
I asked HTT a while ago but I don't remember exactly...I think the non IC wheels are 50 mm dia and the IC versions are either 54 or 56.
I know the non IC housing won't come close to fitting. I would guess there's not even enough
material available to machine it to fit.

If the non-intercooled turbo's have a smller compressor wheel then are the later first gens capable of producing more boost?
Dave answered already, but I may have a different answer as I will soon be putting a later H1C wheel and housing on my non IC set-up. Then I'll have some different data to compare both turbo styles in a non IC application.
