wh1c compressor onto h1c??
wh1c compressor onto h1c??
If I did my research right all the wh1c's have the mwe slots right? I found one with bad bearings and shaft play for pretty cheap, can I put both the 12cm exhaust AND the mwe compressor side onto my h1c? Thanks!
yes u can,BUT, your going negate you results i think. The Wh1c is larger, not by much, but, well if you have the wh1c abd h1c u will see what i mean. i never got my wh1c install pictures posted
Take a look at my gallery for the conversion pics. The compressor wheel and housing fits the H1C middle parts perfectly. The 12 cm2 WG housing fits also with no problem other than the nuckle busting hammer job to get the old one off.
To mate the WH1C housing to the crossover pipe you need to grind the flange off the WH1C housing then use a 2-1/2 to 2" adapter hose.
Eventually I'll fab something up to run the 2-1/2 in tube all the way over to the intake because I don't like the 2" restriction I have now. I've got too many projects going right now though.
My plan is to either make a thick spacer to get the IC right angle adapter I bought up high enough to clear the valve covers and then get some 2-1/2 tube for the crossover or else just fab a new 2-1/2 inch crossover from scratch. We have a local exhaust shop with a tubing bender to do the bending for me either way.
There is somebody else has done the tubing style last year but I can't remember who it was.

I got the WH1C and realized the wheels were infact different. So I changed the compressor housing and wheel over onto my H1C, super easy, takes 5 minutes on these trucks. It works good but I was hoping for more whistle from what everyone raves about. I removed the silencer ring and everything, it's louder but not silly loud like I was hoping! I still need to swap the 12cm housing on, just haven't had the time yet, hopefully that will bring in some more whistle too! Thanks for the help.
