I have the housing off from a 95 WH1C, and am in need of a new WG actuator. Cummins wants the engine serial# from the original engine- no clue. Or the numbers off the tag which I don't have either. Anyone know what one I need to get or a better place to find one?

Ask over in the 2nd gen forum, I'm sure one of the guys with a '94 or '95 will give you the ESN and CPL the Cummins parts guy wants.

 

Is it worth it to get a Big Head WG or is a stock one sufficient?

 

Stock is fine. A $15 Ebay MBC will make adjustments easier than the Banks unit.

 

Well I finally got found the part # for the actuator and called Cummins. Can you beleive it is over $150 for a new one? Seems crazy to me?? I really wish I hadn't blew it out now.
