weird steering feel

Tonight I noticed the wheel felt like it was "pulsing", like it was dragging to the right, then it would come back on center. Sometimes it seems like it doesn't want to go left when I have to correct on a straight or go around curve. What could be up with the truck? Frame cracked where the box mounts? pump going? Any thoughts?

I noticed this morning it seems to go with the undulations in the road, comes to center off the high spots and pulls right when the suspension is compressed. I checked and greased all my ball joints and tie rod ends, they seem tight. Looked at the frame, no signs of the box being loose or cracks. Wheel bearings are good. No idea where to look now. Both tires roll about the same when off the ground.

We don't have live axles like that 2nd genner. If the hubs are unlocked then this is a non issue. Not to mention the OP has a 2wd///

Dad said greasing the front end would fix it. I greased it, checked the bearings, found out the tie rod ends are all new, and the odd feel seems to have gone away.
