Yeah, it's on the last pic. I zoomed in, and sure looks like a ***** hole leak. That'll affect your boost numbers. Might even clear up a ticking sound once fixed

As far as the tank is mounted, I believe most water injection kit suppliers will tell you to make sure the tank is mounted below the level of where your nozzles will get eventually mounted(intake elbow into combustion air plenum is popular, along with the grid heater delete spacer block).
That's a good size tank you got there. If it were me I'd be looking for a spot somewhere on the passenger side wheel well area, but protect it from the heat coming from the exhaust manifold. If you have an xtra cab, somewhere behind the drivers seat is good, too

I doesn't look to me like goes through, there is no soot around it. I think it is just a inclusion in the weld.
