I run the same two .625 nozzles fed by a 220psig pump that has it's pressure regulator switch maxed, 3/8" ID plumbing, etc.

It moves a LOT of booze.

Same here 625. Seems to work well. Could go a little bigger.

ok i was just looking at snowperformances/coolingmists websites and why can you buy all the parts separate from them for cheaper than the kits, or am i missing something. also the gasoline kits are a lot cheaper but you can buy a extra nozzles and tee fittings to make them the same as the diesel kits, right?

[Sgt Carter] Pile! The lesser expensive gas systems run the 150psig pump. [/Sgt Carter]

Y'all keep in mind, most of the nozzles are rated at about 100psig at their inlet. Our trucks might produce 35psig boost (for example). Subtract your boost maximum figure from the pumps output pressure, and what's left is what feeds the nozzle (assuming no pressure drop across the plumbing).

That's for one nozzle.

A second nozzles effectively halves the remaining pump output pressure.

If you're gonna run above about 30psig boost AND want to run two or more nozzles, you'd do best to use a 220psig pump. Else, your nozzles may drool more than atomize the booze.

Seems I recall reading somebody offers a dual pump kit.

I run the progressive controller. The system really ought to be controlled by boost (a pressure switch will do fine if you don't want to spend the money for a controller), otherwise you run the risk of drowning the motor if you don't shut the pump down when you get off the accelerator or the truck defuels at high RPM.
