waste gate

waste gate

has any one waste gate gone off twice when u hav let of the diesel fast. i on my i got the k&n filter fuel pin and a few turns on the pump and one time i floored it and let off hard and the boost gauge neddle went funny so i did agin and listened hard and its sounds like it does go off twice i makeing 30psi with no mods to the turbo. is it ture or i hearing stuff

That's not the wastegate, that's the compressor barking. Don't do that, it's bad for the turbo.

what makes that nosie when u let off and does these trucks hav waste gates. y is it bad and what will happen can i stop that

No, they dont have wastegates. that noise is the air back spinning the turbo whick put a lot of preasure on the turbo shaft

boost is fine just dont floor it then let off fast

Mapwidth enhancement slots can help that. It basically means you are trying to force in more air than the engine can use at lower RPM.

Now, if you are getting on it hard, let off suddenly, and get a whooosh noise for a split second, it is just the turbo slowing down. Still not good, as these engines and their parts are designed to be eased into and out of, esp when hopped up. They are not corvettes, though a few will outrun corvettes.
