I'll be visiting my dad in Downers Grove, IL the week of Thanksgiving. Anybody want to get together for a Meet & Eat at a restaurant or maybe even host a BOMB day? I'll be arriving the 18th and leaving the 25th.

 

I'm in extreme Eastern Iowa, about 3 hours from Chicago. I'll see if I have anything else planned. It would be nice to meet some first genners.





Plus, I have some SilverStars + relays to install, and maybe a 4" exhaust by then... I'm sure I could find some work to do for a BOMB day.

 

I live 45 min east of chicago in Indiana, I'm not a first genner though.

 

I would love to, but I am headed to where you are coming from, driving right through Chicago . I will be in Pittsburgh with my wife's mom for the turkey holiday. Let us Midwesterners know the next time you are in the area...

I'll be in the Downer's grove area then as well visiting my girlfriends family. I'll see if I have any free time. Sadly though we are flying in so I won't have my truck with me. Throw out an arbitrary time and place and I'll get back to you on wether I can do it or not.

How about we shoot for a meet & eat somewhere in the middle? Maybe out towards Dekalb? Or would further South off I-80 be better for folks? DodgerDoob, I'd be willing to pick you up so you could ride to wherever we meet in a proper vehicle.

It doesn't look like it's going to work for me. I'll probably be working (good old farm work) every day except Thanksgiving unless it rains quite a bit. I'll keep it in mind in case I don't work though.

 

Hey I was just thinking about giving you a PM to see if you were coming out for T-day. I am in Rockford.
I'm working today, Wed, and Sat, so those days are out for me (24hr shifts). How about Monday? I don't have my kids on monday so I am free to do whatever. I would like to have you take a look at my Dodge like we did to vinny's last year. I got ahold of a bigger turbo H2e and want some bigger sticks because this thing is a heavy pig so I will have plenty for it to spool up against trying to push its weight. So far the 727 is doing OK.
