Great to hear them looking into it better!

I think even ARP are just repackagers- right? The nuts/bolts/studs are ussually stamped with a maker's mark- SPS is a big maker. Nuts ussually have to get pretty thin for dilitational effects to happen. Seen that only in shear nuts used in tensile applications.
But, it can't hurt. The question as an engineer is what material and how hard ? If you use a cheaper steel and heat treat it really hard, then they are more brittle. At some point, you move up to more expensive material and lower hardness for fatigue. You could talk to someone at SPS fasteners in engineering/or even ask for a Quality engineer.

Here's SPS's website for high-strength tension nuts. They are a manufacture, and don't have stock. You can get stock out of a local warehouse.

Thumbs up

As promised, a full replacement set of studs, washers, nuts and assembly lube was on my back porch when I got home from work today.

Top shelf support from the good people at Haisley Machine! (Link)
