where are you all finding AVS ventshades?
could anyone give me a lead on where you are finding ventshades for the 1st gens? Could I get part numbers for both the chrome and the smoked ones? Much appreciated.

you can find em through your local parts store, Oreillys has the best price that ive found for both. but ask them to look em up through their system and warehouse inventory. Ask them not to look in their second source keystone etc. Itll save you alot of money

Yup! Auto Ventshade # 12031. I got mine from a friend who works at a local offroad shop. I have seen tons of them offered at online companies. Just do a parts search with that #. They seem to run between $35-$45, depending on what company. Hope this helps those folks looking for them.

I finally got my ventshades installed! They look pretty good. The only issue I had was getting the driver's side window to completely seal at the top of the window frame. The new ventshades have distorted the rubber weatherstripping/felt. I discovered that pushing in on the window, while rolling it up gets it rolled up all the way. The weather is real cold outside, the rubber is stiff and perhaps it may take more time for the weatherstripping to conform. All-in-all........ looks great. I'll get some pics up later
