my ve died last week when i went for a drive :s . so what do i need to put a p-pump on this motor or am i better off to put a hole p-pump engine in the truck ???? the truck is a 93 ic .

If you want to swap pumps, you need the whole fuel system (lift pump, lines, and injectors) plus a p-pump/VP pump style timing case. Depending on what sort of deal you can find an engine swap might wind up being cheaper - and a rebuilt VE is cheapest and easiest.

 

ya but i want to put more power down and p-pump is easier way to do that , and the pump is ****ed it split open , so i would have to pay core and i can buy two hole p-pump engines for 1000 bucks both need rebuild but injection systems are good . and my ve engine has 500 000km on it

 

If you can get a blown-up P-pump motor for $500, then by all means do that and swap the parts onto your '93.
