where can i pull vaccum for my boost controler?

 

Well you could tap in somewhere in the vacuum lines near the brake booster, but I don't see how a constant source of vacuum is going to operate you're boost controller?

 

i don't know either. I bought a manual boost controller (like for a turboed car) to control the waste gate actuator on my HE351 last night and it says that i need vaccum and boost signal. I will have a **** to adjust psi in the cab so it should be nice if i can get everything to work. I also need to relocate the actuator on the compressor housing to line up with the lever arm in the waste gate because the way a HE351 needs to be clocked to fit a first gen is much different than how it is on a 3rd gen

 

on a gas car the intake would give you vacume and boost in the same line when the turbo is makeing boost, i think you just need a boost signal unless the controller you bought has more than 2 lines?

 

ok so i just need a line off a charge pipe like where my boost gauge is and one to the waste gate actuator

 

should be,

boost from mainifold to boost controller to wstegate accuator

 

ok cool. i guess the hard part will be getting the accuator moved where it will line up with the waste gate again (because of how the turbo is clocked)
