Turn signal-wiper stem-handle
Turn signal-wiper stem-handle
When I was disassembling the stuff in the steering column, I found that the handle/stem for the turn signal is broken at the base, where it is held in by 2 torx screws. My first thought is JB weld, but does anyone know if this part is available? What is it called? In the meantime, I am going to be jb welding

Not sure if it's available in the aftermarket...but you can find them used. You might have to get one form another Dodge ram though. Think the Dakota was different? I usually find them listed under "turn signal switch".
I used one from a 90 in my 89 column....had to cut and and splice the wiring to make it work. Colors and wire routing changed, but function stayed the same.

Pretty sure dodge still carries them, and they're not super expensive......
although I could be wrong...
This is what they show for a wiper switch and a turn signal switch. Problem is that the stem is what I need. The stem screws onto the part that is facing down on the wiper switch...Mark:

...MarkBet it ain't cheap either. 1990 looks to be it's own animal.
Yeah I'm pretty sure you can't separate that handle/stock from the wiring. Since the intermittent wiper, and wash function is built into it.
Like I said I used a 90 one in my 89 column...same exact design, just wired slightly different. Think the dodge rams, and vans, went to this around 86/87. Probably have to find one from one of those years and then make it work.
When my 89 stock was acting up I was searching on E-bay for them...found a couple used ones. So they are out there. I'll keep an eye open for one.
