Would it interfere with a remote starter on a truck?

i dont see why it would. it gets a signal from the ignition turning off. the remote starter sending a signal just like you turning the key on

What about us guys with the trucks with the pump turned up a little too much so the key won't shut our trucks off. Our shut off solenoids are blown so we have a pull cable. A turbo timer couldn't work for me until i got the solenoid fixed right?

If the solenoid plunger is cut, there is a fairly easy fix in the "stick". The hard part is getting to it.

What I am looking for is a device that reads EGT and shuts the engine off at 300* F descending. I know some of the electronic boxes do this on the computerized engines but, I would like a poor mans solution to try on my first gen. I was thinking maybe a thermal switch that could be placed on the other side of the divider in the exhaust manifold or even post turbo. Sometimes I drive like I stole it and after a long pull hauling the trailer it takes more than a couple mintues too cool down.
