I came across a 58/61/.91 borg warner turbo, t4 flange on craigslist today for fairly cheap. they said its off a john deere and somthing about it being a s300 base. I was wondering if it would even work on my truck and how it would perform. thanks

 

Pretty good actually. A little laggy (the .91 T4 is around 16cm) but a turbo that can be abused more than the HX. Scheid machines this turbo to accept a T3 housing and calls it their Lightning Turbo.

 

So $100 buck would be a good deal? And where can I find this adapter for this turbo to accept T3 housing? And would this work with my down pipe? Thanks
