I have a 92 250 what if I put a 06 stock turbo on it would I improve much

 

If I recall correctly its a 9cm waist gated turbine and a pretty good sized compressor. Stock turbos on those trucks can make 450whp, but with pretty high EGT's. Overall a decient upgrade from the H1C turbo on the 92 now.

 

There are a bunch of threads on this subject. Search HE351CW or something similar for those. The guys who have intsalled them are very happy with them so far.

 

With the small quick spooling exhaust housing and large compressor I'd love to have one of those turbos on a 4BT Cummins project! That turbo with some 6x.0016 injectors would be insane, especialy in something like an S10 or light mustang fox body!

If I still lived in Maine it wouldnt be such a long drive. LOL What is the 92'?
