Tuning out the smoke

My truck smokes pretty good and my wife keeps hounding me about getting a ticket for it. I would like to tune out the smoke but keep my power. Is there a way to do this and keep the power and sound. The truck still runs the stock pump but aftermarket turbo (Phatshaft 62). I use the truck mostly fr daily driving and will also use it to pull my mud truck upon completion.

Smoke screw and starwheel all the way up will go a long way towards reducing low boost smoke.

Like Ace said, back the star wheel and the smoke screw out. If it's still too smoky, you can carve on the inside of the AFC cover and on the top of the pin to let the pin ride higher in the bore. The higher you can get it, the less fuel you will have available before the boost comes on.

Smokes from take off or constantly?
Is your housing a 12 or 14?
Play with the timing.
Intercooler or hose leaks?

Install a cam.

Buy the wife some darker shades.

That did help mine to get rid of the last bit of bottom end smoke I had. But in order for it to work I also had to noch out another millimeter off the bottom of the BD fuel pin to make room for it to continue traveling upwards without binding on the "other" fuel pin or whatever it's called that pops out from the side. So depending on what fuel pin you have, watch the marks where it's riding to make sure it's doing what you want and not binding anything.
