Trying to separate the H1C housing

Anyone know of a good way to get the old stock housing off so I can put the new 12cm waist gated housing on? It seems to be stuck on there real good.

I assume the turbo is completely off the truck. Spray it down with penetrating oil let it sit 30 min. Then tap the turbine housing around and around. Not love taps, but not crazy hard either. When it starts to move, lighten up. When installing use anti-seize on center section to turbine..

After a glancing blow from my sledge hammer pinched my pinkie finger between the housing and the sledge hammer and mangled it, I took my h1c turbo to Becs ADP to have it completly rebuilt and balanced.

PB Blaster and maybe some heat might release it.

I got it off. It took the bigger hammer after it soaked in PB blaster overnight.
