truck wont start????
well i got a whole bunch of new stuff.gov spring exahuast guages ect. went out to start my truck to move it and the battery was dead.so i try to jump it with my suburban.i let it jump for about 20 min. turn the key and it turns 3 or 4 times and hear a click click and then nothing wont turn over and i have no wait to start or anything else.i have power to everything else just nothing to the ignition can anybody help? this is on a 92 w250 any help is appreciated
Check the things rebal said, clean your connections, I just went through that on a truck. Dad had it running in the morning, shut it down because he needed his keys went to start it up again and nothing, bad connection right at the battery post.
turn on the lights and turn the key, if the lights dont dim then its probably a starter problem... so hit the starter with a hammer and try again. if they do dim then continue with the bad battery issue.
well i put a new battery in it and still nothing. i have all my acc (heater lights stereo) but nothing to the ignition.is there a fuseable link to the starter circut?put on brand new cables to the battery also

Hook one of your jumper leads from the negative battery post to the engine block and see if that helps. Sounds like something in the negative battery lead broke between the battery and engine block. Also check your intermediate starter relay located on the fender.
under the hood drivers side fender theres a big triangle rubber thingy with 4-5 or 6 wires
(cant remember)thats where the fusable links are gently tug on the wires trying to pull them apart if one stretches its bad cut it out and install a new one from the parts store .You can use a piece of wire to test it too

From my gray haired memory I think you can swap that relay with the one next to it to test to see if that's the problem.
