93 d250 wont charge and my wait to start light is stayin on..

 

Ewww. Usually when the PCM starts doing funny things with the WTS light it is terminal. Run the power check in the sticky to make sure it's getting power and ground where needed, but I bet you will be looking at a replacement PCM.

put a chevy 1 wire alt on it....

 

good job, thats a great alternator, when mine went out on the road, i didnt think of the option, put the original replacement back on with a new regulator, and a life time a-zone warranty, eventually ill have to delete the warranty, go the si gm alt. route, guess i cant complain, what looked like the original alternator, had 285,000 miles on it, the segements the brushes contact were worn like ditches on the armateur.
