Transmission leak help please

I went out yesterday and found a puddle under the truck (automatic 3 Speed). Pretty easy to see that it was coming from the rear of the transmission. I pulled the shaft this morning and instead of leaking from the seal, the fluid is coming down the splines thru the center of the yoke and past the retaining nut. What would cause this? I pulled it apart and there is no seal that fits that part. The nut was very tight but the yoke was relativly free moving. Didn't appear to be anything wrong. The truck has been parked for about a week and a half. The driveway has a very slight incline. When it was parked it wasn't leaking at all untill maybe two days ago. I am used to working with solid yokes. What is supposed to keep trans fluid from passing down the splines? Thanks for any help. I have to run back to Advance for a trans seal. They showed 2 different seals so to be safe I got both of them. Naturally they were both wrong so now we search.

Just to update. What a nitemare to find that seal. Advance doesn't show a number for the seal. Went to see my buddy at All Pro and after checking Dodge's number for the seal we found that it doesn't cross to anything aftermarket. Dodge can't get it till the end of next week. Finally called Trans Parts Supply and they said they could get it Monday.
