transmission kicking out of OD
ok, so just recently, my transmission started kicking in and out of OD when i coast at 45-50 mph
it just started doin this recently and im hopin its not my final leg on the tranny

sounds like you throttle position sensor is either out of adjustment or bad. In the sticky at the top of the 1st gen section there is link to adjusting the TPS and replacing it with a potentiometer.
