trans/t-case question

Anyone know if a passenger-drop t-case off a 518 will bolt up to a 46rh?

I have always been under the impression that a A518 and a 46RH were the same tranny?

I thought the A500/46r decended from the 904.

Yes the A500 did...but I thought the 45R was the other designation for the A500? I don't know about the 46R.

The 46 is still a 727 based unit.
