I'm trying to gather parts to put a 6BT in my 85 W350 crew cab. I've got a 518 and a NP205 out of a 92. The engine donor truck is a 2WD crew cab dually with the intercooled cummins and getrag swapped in. Will the 518 bolt to the same adapter as the getrag??? Is the starter the same??

I know this has been asked before. I keep searching and reading but I have yet to find the answers I need. This is my first cummins so I know very little.

 

Yes, they use the same engine adapters.
