Hey archer,i had ask this ques., before! The book says ( i think)for my auto., 9 qts., but i have a aux., cooler under my cab. Now how many qts., ??? Should one , pump out all the fluid or just add the syn. and go for it???

Hey crossey! you gave me food for thought( i8can think if iwant to). Your right went out pulled the old dip stick out and right there in bold letters" use mopar ATF-plus type 7176 auto trans fluid or DEXRON II". I started this thread cause the change& go uses syn. , just wasn't sure if it was right for my trans. thanks

Valvoline +4 in our area goes for a little less than $4 a quart. Reading how it's additives last longer as it's main advantages... if you change every 30,000 it's probably a waste of money unless you get it hot towing or hauling a big load.
