I have other pics but those show it the best. I'm gonna remove it next week and take it to our body shop and have them epoxy prime and paint it and then I'll remount it. I want to try it for a few days to see if any modifications have to be made.
But so far I'm very happy with it.

Rammer, Nice rack, well tire rack that is. Where in the world have you found all that corrosive material to drive your truck through to make it rust like that. You live on a salt farm? Maybe I'm crazy to wash under my truck, probably won't make much differce when mine is as old as yours.

MINOR SCALE
I bought the vehicle used two years ago and it was never undercoated or oil sprayed. It does look rough but it is actually only minor surface rust. I work for the public works department as a mechanic and I do winter control repairs and drive a salt truck. So when ever we have a good snowfall, I have to drive the truck to work through the salt sprayed in the yard. But I do wash it regularly and almost faithfully. I've got one rust hole in the driver's rocker panel and I'll hopefully fix that this winter if I have a house by then.
I'm moving, but don't know where. I sold my house.
That poses the next question. OIL SPRAY or UNDERCOATING?
I think I'll post a poll in the foruums and see the results.

That spare mount looks pretty sweet. Good job.
As for rust prevention, polyurethane paint is my vote . . . But it is a lot of work to put it on properly . . .

Tire rack...
Rammer, you going to make some more of those? I am so sick of haulin' the spare in the bed and your set-up looks fool proof, nice job!
If the thought crosses your mind let me know, I am interested.

I was sick and tired of it too.
I can make up all ya want.
but shipping to Minniapolis could get a little expensive.
It's not hard. I can get the measurements and draw up a blueprint and send that. Any local welding/fabrication shop would be able to make it for ya. It'll be alot cheaper that way than me building it, shipping it to ya and it may not fit.
The only problems would be the lock set-up because you may not have the same trailer hitch I do and that end would have to be made specific for your truck. It may also be different if you have a different size spare than the stock 215/75R16.
I'ld be more than willing to draft up sketch with measurements for anybody.

Rack..
Sounds great, I am always looking to do some fab. work, but with my schedule it seems I am finding myself hiring all sorts of stuff out. If you could give some rough dimensions and layout it would be time I would not have to waste sitting there scratching my head trying to invent my own. I agree with the shipping it could be pricy.
Thanks!
Thanks!
