I saw a 200* drop with a timing spacer. That only allows dynamic timing to advance but keeps the static timing at its base.

105 bucks shipped. takes practically no time to install either. it seemed to make my top end power smooth out and pull harder until the governor spring stopped me.

Does this have any effect on fuel mileage? Also kind of off topic but what happens if I leave the ksb unplugged?

Advancing the timing improves mileage. Unplugging the KSB on an intercooled truck will have no effect once the engine is warm.

FYI, if you ever decide to hot wire it, just don't leave it ON all the time.

It's kind of annoying when I want something from them I have to be put on a waiting list. I'm on their list for an M3 pin. Had to wait for a spacer too.
