Throwout bearing

Anyone know if the throwout bearing on an NV4500 is continuously running or on demand like the older trucks were?

It runs continuously. Pretty much all self adjusting hydraulic clutch throwouts run continuously.

That was hard for me to get used to when hydraulic clutches became common place
