i thought the pin was went in and out of the housing and contacted the CONE.
now im *** backwards or what. if so it sells for what ? 25 bucks. and where abouts does one get these lil boogers. i think i can install that with out garbling my pump AGAIN.
id like to keep my pump they way it is untill i can get someone who know sthe screws o kick down some help with it.

OK, here's my attempt at clarification....
The phrase "pin" and "cone" have been used to describe the same thing when in fact the 'pin' is properly called the "guide pin" and the cone is properly called the AFC diaphram and cone.
The guide pin rides on the cone. You can take a look at the pics in my readers rigs section on the other site for some pretty simplistic drawings on these components.

I guess "Old Smokey Power Eccentric" just didn't have the ring he was looking for
.
He put a lot of work into the design, and I think it came out quite well overall, but I have passed on it for the price so far.
