Thoughts and prayers for Cowboy_Customs

I know this is kind of an 'other' topic, but we 1st genners tend to have our own thing going. My good friend and yours, JR (Cowboy_Customs), was involved in a single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning. He is in the hospital and is very banged up. Amazingly, he sustained no internal injuries that the docs can find, only a bump on the head. He is concious and very much aware (despite the morphine drip) and even cracked a smile when I saw him this afternoon. Still, he's going to be laid up for several weeks. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers through the early stages of this difficult recovery period--I know he would appreciate it. Sadly, the dually didn't survive the ordeal. That truck gave its life for his.

Thread's fixed. Keep us updated on J.R., Greg. I'm sure he can find another truck, but I know if I was in his situation the truck would be bothering me more than my head.

Praying.

Was it in his CTD? IF so, that shows you that you can walk away from a crash in one of these. Not the best way to find out though.

Yes. The engine OIL PAN and entire Getrag were found several yards from the truck, to give an idea of the magnitude of the accident

At some point, print some of the well wishes for him. When my mother was in the ICU last Fall, I had a page where others could write well wishes, It helps.

We are pulling for him and will certainly have him in our prayers.

I'm on it. I've got duplicate threads on cumminsforum and 1stgen.org and plan to bring hard copies to the hospital tomorrow
