temp. gauge

temp. gauge

Im new here, so i'll probably have lots of questions in the future. i have had two first gens.
both really good trucks. they are so reliable i have never had to do any thing to them, so i dont know much about them. just maintaine and drive. i need to find the temp. gauge sending unit , so i can replace stock guage , but dont know where it is. thanks

If on a Cummins, its located at the rear driverside of the engine. Big almost 1" plug.

Welcome to DTR!

I'm not surprised you can't find the sensor. It's well hidden. Look on the side of the engine block, it is hiding under the cylinder head just behind the fuel filter.
