Tell me what fair market value is...

I have another first gen that I wrecked back in '08. It is a forest green CC longbox, very close to BC847's but not nearly as cherry. A former coworker of mine wants to buy the doors and the bed. I'm trying to get him to take the whole truck for $1000 (no engine), but I don't think he wants to.

Everything is in pretty good condtion. No rust. How much do you think the stuff is worth? Thanks.

the truck without an engine should fetch $1000 depending on how wrecked it is.

Depending on how good the bed is that alone could be worth $800

right... what's wrecked is the question I s'pose.

If you have good axles, bed, interior peices, and others.... you should be able to get your $1,000 then just scrap the rest if you don't have the patience to fully part it out.

I'd pay 1500 for a 4x4 with good axles and a good bed and maybe some good interior parts.

My most recent purchases of dodge truck parts were priced at:
Door, from a truck with 40K miles $100 from a local auto wrecker.
Axles, Dana 61,71, F&R set, 110K miles, 3.07's $550 from a local auto wrecker.
Bed, 6-1/2 foot, from AZ,prior owner paid $500, I bought from him for his advertised price at $300. Local dealer prices on southern states used beds locally $500-700.
Last complete drivable Dodge Cummins 4x4 Getrag truck, PA inspected & delivered from 50 miles away to my driveway for $1400. Floor was rusted out but could have been repaired but I junked it for parts. Price value changes with your location, availability, and demand. The prices seem to increase the further north you go.

Also it seems to me PA is one of the cheapest markets for our old trucks. It seems kinda like there are a lot of these old trucks there. And a good few of them are in decent shape.
Trebor is right though. It will depend some on where you're at location wise. And rust free is worth a lot the farther north you go. Stupid salt!

I have been searching for some interior trim pieces for awhile with no luck. Any chance the interior is still somewhat intact? If you were within a few hours drive I'd buy it for $1,000 in a heart beat.
