A semi-local has a tailgate from an '86...

1) Will it work on my '93?
2) If so, what are the differences '8?-'93?

Regardless how "mint" it is, I'm likely to rattlecan it black, figuring I'd never get the metallic silver/gray w/ blue overspray matched. Might have a bud cut me some reflective vinyl for the letters

I see a couple of older Dodges (gassers) around that have diff. stamping... 1 says "DODGE" and the other "DODGE RAM"... Educate me please!

 

I have a '82 on my '92 fits perfect..

only difference is the older one says" Dodge Ram" on it..

 

The ones that say "Dodge" on them with the fancy red strip and aluminum piece are also made of unobtainium. I sure wish LMC truck would help us out and give us a catalogue of replacement parts like our one of a kind tailgates
