dos anyone know were i can buy a new or used t stat housing for a 91.5-93 intercooled truck? I have looked for days with no luck

ebay is the best bet. New they are $$$ though avail through Cummins.

 

They're about $85-$100 from Cummins. You'll need the part number an ESN from one of those year trucks. Ebay most of the time will have the 94-98 12v 2nd gen t-stat housing, which will work, but you'll need to use the two square cut seals and t-stat from that year truck. The 1st gen t-stat is too small and will leak coolant if used with the newer t-stat housing.
