surprised myself and others on the dyno today
Well I heard last week that Adrenaline Performance out of Shelley, Idaho was having a dyno day this saturday. And since I had work off, and it was about 45 mins away from where I lived, I figured it would be a perfect chance to pay $50 for a couple runs to see what difference this built 47rh trans made in the ol farm truck. Well I came out pretty surprised as were others at the dyno event. I was hopin for at least 380 to 400hp and I told myself I would be very happy with that
......
well I hit 450.9 hp and 989.8 ft lbs of torque my 1st run, then 449hp and 1008 ft lbs on my 2nd run. Both locked up in OD with my KSB switch on. Dyno was a superflow and they had the load at 20%. This was with my 261k motor with original head gasket, an HE351CW turbo, my 12mm VE that I've tweaked and good ol power makin POD injectors.

and the dyno sheet

A lot of guys asked if I still had the ol rotary pump as I kept the hood closed most the time except when I had to check a few things before the run. I just replied with a "of course!" and most said wow you got that thing running really good! I was the only older dodge there. I got there later but was the only dodge truck to run while I was there. Custom Auto had a bunch of "tuned" duramaxes there and a few other 6.4 and 6.7 fords that were all around 500-600hp.
All in all I'm still impressed with the old farm truck. Its come a long ways in the last 5 years i've been messin with it from when i first got it at age 14. I never thought it would come this far, and its only to go further. Now I cant wait to get bigger injectors so I can get the 14mm VE I put together off the shelf and on my truck, then it'll be time for another big turbo. I'm excited to see the numbers then and see how well it'll truck pull. Its just neat to see the lil VE pump run and at least compete with the newer trucks that have thousands of dollars dropped into them. All I can say is that this lockup trans has opened up a whole new level it seems.

I think there was little if any CF because of the:
Most correctly tuned 6.4L are about 600hp around me.

not sure on the correction factor. They didn't tell me at the dyno. I can maybe call them tomorrow and see what it was.
Custom auto had their dually duramax there and hit about 1300hp and 1800 ft lbs on nos. I cant remember if it has twins or triples but thats what i've heard its been hitting roughly at most other dyno events. I just know a lot of people were surprised after my 1st run and it shut a lot of people up. At least my tq numbers were close to most those newer "tuned" trucks, so i didn't feel too far behind.

Shelly ID is listed as being at 4630'. If you assume 75 deg F., 25.4 in/hg for pressure(calc at 4500ft) and perhaps a little humidity like .121 vapor pressure, the correction factor is about 1.181.
450.9 divided by 1.181 = 381.8.
Just an example.

It is running good for what you have, but don't you ever wonder what it's actually putting down? It seems like every dyno sheet you put up is corrected but you never know what the CF is, so you never know what the true HP is at the place you dynoed.
Anyways, good job and keep making more horsepowers.

I've called them everyday this week. The Guy that ran/setup the dyno hasn't been there so they said they didn't know for sure and would have to talk to him. The said they thought he only corrected it for just elevation? But they weren't for sure. They have my name and number and said they'd call me back once they found something out. But I havent heard back from them yet. This is no excuse, I want to know the correction factor/ uncorrected numbers and I won't stop bugging them til i get them. I'm just as curious as you guys are.
