stuck in 3rd. HELP!!

The 93 is stuck in 3rd gear, won't budge. its face first up against a fence and we're screwed.

i can't swap in the good trans until the blasted clutch is here that's taking forever!!!

I just want it to go into reverse so we can pull it up near the garage.

Can we tug on it from the back while the clutch is out to try to pop it out or is that a bad idea....

thanks

Or, if that doesn't work, pull an axle shaft or drop the drive shaft.

JP.

P.S.: Block the wheels first.

JP.

I know that but it has to go all the way around the block and was hopin it'd go under its own power

think we'll just pull it out and drive it around the block in 3rd

It's already up to the garage we rolled it back wards and then just drove it around the block in 3rd to the front entrance of our garage, can't make the clutch any worse so we figured what would a few 3rd gear launches hurt at this point

our buddy is letting us use his snap on trans jack. should be easy. the same guy that gave us the starter spacer we need

sent flywheel out to get cut yesterday, picked up new rear main from dealer...clutch is here....90k getrag is out of storage and painted and ready to go in, just have to bolt on the shifter stick (93 style).....good to go now.

Sometimes pulling it backwards will casue the helical gears to release if the trans is good and tired. I haven't missed my Getrash at all.

We tried everything to get it unjammed...

The trans has been badish since we got it, its always made that 3rd and 4th gear grumple and shifted really hard (like it had no fluid or something, lol) but for $400 the truck was still a deal because it was so solid.

Nah i drive it all the time, its just something you have to get used to , there was small window to get it into 3rd, had to be lined up perfect

Clutch? What Clutch? Thought floating the gears was normal. I know that everyone says to not float the gears, but darn, I hate using the clutch pedal. I have had Moose for just about 3 years and once he is moving the clutch pedal doesn't get used.

I will admit that the getrags have small window for sliding the gears, but once you have it figured out, it is not rocket science.
