Strange High Pitch Noise

I have noticed that my truck has been making a new sound. When I first start up the truck it sounds normal, but after it warms I can hear a high pitch sound that moves with the rpm's. Could it be the water pump going out? Almost sounds like a bad bearing or possible the alternator? What ever it is it just about matches the loudness of the engine, and hard to pin point where it is.

What a bummer. It has never made this sound before. It doesnt seem right.

by the way, I did not receive the turbo upgrade in the mail today. Hopefully Tomorrow.

Thanks for any help,

Tom

The easiest thing to do is to pop the belt off and fire it up, see if the sound goes away. If so, start spinning the pulleys and see which ones feel rough or make noise when spun.
