Steering Wheel

Looking to replace my steering wheel (horn cover tabs are broke) and instead of staying with the stock wheel I'm looking to replace it with a wheel from something else. I know that all cars with audio controls on the wheel are airbags wheels, but looking to see what will work. Anyone changed out to a different "factory style" steering wheel?

Better question is does anyone still make "fake" airbag covers?

I've thought of going to the older wheel with the small round cover in the center.

Not sure if you can go to a newer one. Leave it to government regulation to change how they mount so airbag wheels can't be replace with non airbag wheels. Like the unleaded and leaded fuel fillers. How many of you remember those?

You can get around it by swapping in a 2nd-gen column.
