Personally, I would prefer to just rebuild the stock original steering coupler. The kit with all needed parts from the dealer is less than $10. The job can be done in about a half hour or so.

Stock won't last and doesn't always correct all the slop.
Just my personal experience.

if the housing isn't worn the kit will do just fine especially if you put a grease fitting on it. If you need the housing and kit it will cost about $85.00 and if you install a grease fitting it should last a long time.

Most of the wear occurs on the pin that the two dogs ride on. Generally, the housing doesn't wear, so a kit which includes new dogs, pin, tension spring, and boot will fix the coupler up like new. As long as it's packed well with light grease, it will last quite well.

You can do this repair 18 times before the parts cost equals the aftermarket shaft.

It's definitely a cheaper fix than the aftermarket shafts. And besides, when the u-joint begins to wear on the aftermarket shaft, how much will it cost to fix?

The rebuild kit can't fix the worn out hole cross drilled thru the end of the steering shaft - that's what happened with mine. So, in my case, the rebuild was a waste of time and something I'd rather not do on a regular basis.
The longevity of the Borgeson remains to be seen and I think the u-joint runs about $60 or so.
